Sadly, although preserved at one stage, it was later scrapped." billh35 told us that this bus came to a sad end in 1987: "The same vehicle - many years later. It was demonstrated to CIE, Belfast Corporation and the Ulster Transport Authority and its effect was to shape CIE Dublin bus buying policy for many years to come. As others have said, it eventually ended up at Lough Swilly before an attempt was made to preserve it but it was sadly scrapped. A great loss to Irish transport history!"
