| Keywords: At Present, Amiruddin or easily called as Amir, is conductingpainting lesson for expatriates and ambassador's spousesand also a few VIP'S spouses- He has been seriously paintingfor more than 30 years, Had part 2014-05-24 21-22.png Amirudin Ariffin Amirudin Ariffin - Malaysia's Visual Artist and Painter Own Fikri Artists from Malaysia 1958 1 23 Pahang Malaysia Malaysian Visual Artist Amirudin Ariffin Born 1958 Pahang state Malaysia is one of local professional visual artist In 1985 “ He first started his career with group of artist painting at street in Jalan Melayu Kuala Lumpur Amirudin Ariffin Biodata Amirudin Ariffin was born in Temerloh Pahang state Malaysia on January 23 1958 He has always loved arts since his primary school days His favorite past time was to copy to draw and to paint posters of Hollywood films such as Hercules Tarzan Ben Hur etc Apart from that he also makes many portraits of prominent leaders and popular figures using pencil and shading After completed his secondary at Penang free school he then ˜learnt the ropes of the trade ™ of designs where he worked as a part time layout artist designer in local publication company In 1987 to 1989 he took a correspondence course in graphic design at ICS International Singapore and work in printing and advertising company as senior artist until he got a promoted to an art director Early Professional Career Later he moved to Kuala Lumpur and became a freelance artist After few years he then taught graphic art design in private college resigned as principal Being adventurous he then quit teaching and became a full-time artist profession However he is still teaching by conducting painting classes in Artisan Centre Gallery and National Art Gallery space that both located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia After years of attachment he then began his personal art platform venue name Amir's Painting Studio on Jalan Kuantan Titiwangsa Next to National Art Gallery Career Involvement Beside conducting painting lesson for expatriates ambassador's VIP'S spouses Amirudin also has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions workshops and painting demonstrations a very versatile artist who works in oil watercolor pastel acrylic and ink drawings Amirudin has painted several murals for corporations and museums his works had been collected by prominent Corporations  Foundations National Art Gallery as well as distinguished individuals in Malaysia and abroad The Inner Temple Of London Alumni Association has chosen to commission him a Portrait painting of the first Prime Minister of Malaysiaas an item in memory ofYM Tunku Abdul Rahman Al Haj for permanent display at the Inner Temple of London In November 2007 Tokyo again Amirudin was chosen by World Art  Cultural Exchange of Japan to conduct interviews with 12 senior artists for the monthly issue of WAC coffee - table - book which had 20 000 copies of circulation through out Japan Several of Amirudin's works also have been donated as charity to a few handicap children institutions and disable body and organizations | ||||
