The canal presumably forms the boundaries of the Parishes within Sandbach as the plant is growing in Hassall and I was standing in Malkins Bank. Seen from the towpath opposite the back gardens that run down to the canal. Too far away for a real "Butterfly shot", even with my 250mm at full stretch.
