Chief Bishop has been ordered to report to the Office of the Naval Attache in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the 18th of May for a three-year tour of duty. A forthcoming change in the enlisted transfer manual will permit WAVES to request attaché duty. Billets will be limited in number and selection and will be on a highly competitive basis. Chief Bishop is from Denver, Colorado, she entered the Navy in March 1946 and has served in various billets within the United States. Photograph released May 8, 1963.
