Like most people, I can't find much nice to say about life behind the old cold war Iron Curtain, but to be fair to the east Germans they loved their lingerie and sexy fashion wear was actually encouraged for 'the wellbeing of the people'. Slip manufacture became quite a cottage industry in the Saxony region for a while and I have many exquisite examples from there. Long live the slip revolution, comrades!
