BZ15 is an assault follow-on echelon exercise designed to conduct ship-to-shore transportation of Navy cargo with the INLS Floating Causeway embarked aboard the Military Sealift Command heavy lift ship SS Cape Mohican (T-AKR 5065) and improve interoperability with Naval Beach Group 1, Amphibious Construction Battalion 2, Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Pacific and Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1.
